Okay, today was a real fruitful day. I completed moving my tables in my room, washed the fan in my room, although it's not totally completed, but it's about there. Felt a real sense of satisfaction clearing up my room, like finally i managed to do some cleaning.
I also watched P.S I Love You, i've been hearing how nice and touching the movie is, but haven't really got a chance to watch, finally caught it today. And it was indeed great, i teared. Although i'm a guy, but i got to admit it's really a sweet and sad movie. It has brought the word love to new paradigms, the meaning of " I Love You " to a whole total different level. For those who still don't know what "P.S I Love You" is about, it's actually about this young widow who has lost her husband to brain tumour, and her husband actually left her 10 letters over a period of time to help her cope with the loss. Kudos to Hilary Swank, for playing the role so well, at certain points of the movie, i could actually feel as though i'm inside in the scene. It's indeed one of the best movies i've watched so far. Nice songs in the movies as well.
Indeed, it's sad losing someone you really love, talking about the term cherish, and how many people actually do that. We always put the word "cherish" on our lips, but how many of us really do mean it? Or do we actually cherish something only when it's lost? We keep saying that we must cherish this and that, but are those just pure lip service or do they actually come from the heart. This word "Cherish" also serves a greater meaning to me after certain incidents, be it to cherish the things around me, my family, my friends. I once read somewhere that a person should actually live each day as though as it's his last, than he would only learn to appreciate and cherish things around him. When was the last time you thank your mum for waking you up for bed, or preparing you a meal, or did you just take it for granted and thought that it's her job as a mum. Think about it, it's time to thank the people you love, appreciate those who supported you, and cherish those that are around you.
That makes this world such a wonderful place.
