Just completed the proposal for the Singapore Sling competition, spent the past 3 hours improvising on it and finally it's done. Hopefully, we're able to win something out of this competition.

Was watching some videos on youtube just now and this particular one caught my eye, it's a perfomance from Paul Potts's, the winner on the reality show Brtish Got Talent. And his performance is really amazingly beautiful, he has such wonderful vocal chords. It's really inspirational, someone who's just a salesman but he who has a dream of becoming a opera singer, finally got the chance to show the world what he's made of.

And i think it's really nice, you know sometimes we tell people what our dreams are, some of us aspire to be the best singers, millionaires, football players, fashion designers, and the usual response would be they would laugh at our dreams, claiming we wouldn't make it. And sometimes, we take their comments seriously, and we give up hope, we give up our dreams, we thought we couldn't make it, for we fear at being laughed at, and we gave up. And i think this video comes as a reminder to us that no matter what we do, be it in academic, sports or life, when we've a goal/dream, we should go all out to pursue it, and not let any factors/ obstacles stand in the way, for we all know that we're made to have big dreams, to do big things.
