We had Cognitive module today, and Joel decided to do something new during the 3rd meeting. We played game instead, and it was a real lesson learnt from the game, it was basically a simple instruction game of getting across numbered boxes in sequence.
I can say that today's lesson is one of the most valuable lesson i've learnt so far in RP and i really thank Joel for that. He de-briefed us after the game, and we talk about what we have learnt, and we mentioned things like teamwork, cooperation, tolerance, and i think one important thing he brought up was "Trying Harder", this phrase just caught my mind. He said that it doesn't mean that the harder you try a particular something, you are going to get that thing right, rather it's about analyzing the problem and see what's wrong and finding a right solution to it.
And i think it really applies, i mean for us when things go wrong, we just do again and again, not knowing where we really went wrong, if we take a step a back at times, look at the problem again, see what's really wrong with it, perhaps we are able to find a better solution to it.
