I particularly like two scenes where Marley is being let loose to roam about the beach and into the sea, the other being where Marley is being laid on the living room and the family members just gave their last words to Marley, it was touching, emotional at the same time i think it sets us thinking.
Indeed this movie has brought about a change as to where a dog may lie in our hearts. In some cases, a dog may be just a pet/playmate to be with us when we want to them around, to others a dog/pet may be like part of the family, someone you can't live without, something you've developed emotions for.
I loved ths quote by Josh right at the end of the movie "A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart, and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?"
