19th, a year wiser.

I've grown another year older, perhaps a year wiser. Birthdays to me are perhaps one of the most important days in my calender, and i really look forward to spending it with my family and friends. This year was another great birthday celebration that i had, and many thanks to say about.

The day started out with a birthday lunch treat by cousin keeve & family. Brought me to Rider's Cafe at Bukit Timah area, which has this very colonial and rustic feel to it. The food was excellent, especially the calamari rings, which was awesome! Thank you Keeve & MT for the treat, and if calysta & carina is reading this, thank you both adorable little girls for the drawn cards as well!

Went home for a short nap before meeting Ahern, Yaping & Joanna and Junction8 for dinner. So actually i thought that we would be heading to some kinda restaurant or cafe to eat, but Ahern said food court, so we went there with a little "disappointment" in me. Was actually feeling quite "sian", than we went down to get beers from the supermarket before heading to my house for mahjong.

And here's the fun part, i opened my door and than went to my room which the door was apparently closed, and the next thing i knew; party poppers going around, and almost everyone in the clique was in my room shouting happy birthday to me! I was really shocked, a better word pleasantly surprised. I didn't expected this to happen, i thought that it would just be the four of us, i didn't expect to see giebert holding the cake, xinjie, weisheng, annie, meiling, charmaine, zhenhui to start opening the party poppers, it was really a great surprise. And to think that my mum was in this as well, she knew that my friends were coming to give me a surprise but did not even let out any bit of the information.

back to the old school 1 & 2! :D

So we had a fun time playing mahjong, card games, singing songs, having pizzas and cakes. And thanks once again for the wondeful gift you all gave me, right now i'm so hooked to "Together In Electric Dreams", i keep replaying it, haha! So we took lotsa photos, before they all left at about 11.30pm.

That was how i spent my 19th, a great lunch and a pleasant surprise. You know it's when it comes to times like this when you start to realise that you have a such a wonderful bunch of family and friends who are there for you to celebrate with you, and of course i know that they will always be there with me no matter what, no matter when. And i'm really glad to have such a bunch of people around me, thank you people, love ya'all man!
