Muar's Durians & Skudai's Seafood

Had a one day trip to Muar for durians and seafood dinner with mum and aunties. The journey up was about 3 hours drive, stopping halfway for breakfast before proceeding to the durian farm. I know everyone is going gaga over durians now as it's in season. The durians we had were "average" only, not exactly that fantastic although it's still much better than the ones you find in singapore.

"D24, Mao Shan Wang, i think is all available in there"

After lunch, headed to this place for some local products shopping, before heading back to Johor where had a shopping break at Bukit Indah, which is somewhat like Vivocity. Anyway, saw peow hia & tang-sao there, such a small world, haha! After the shopping break, headed to this like kelong at skudai for seafood dinner. I think that among the whole trip, this dinner would be the highlight of everything. The seafood they served were fantastically fresh, which included prawns, crabs, lalas, sotongs, kangkong and chicken. I loved the crabs, it's such a long time since i had such fresh crabs, which tasted really sweet and nice. The occasional sea-breeze makes it quite a pleasant dining experience as well. Headed back to Singapore after dinner.
