Anyway after my tuition, had a quick bite, than changed my blogskin and added some advertisements on my blog, so do help me click on the advertisments okay, thanks! anyway went for a bath and changed to meet Zongyang and Kerman for pool at Snooker Zone. I'm really taking a liking to pool nowadays, i guess it really can train one's sense of concentration, ohya and i saw the famous criminal lawyer, Subhas Anandan there, there's some kinda billard competition held there as well.
After pool, went with Kerman to bishan mrt to meet Charmaine, Ahern, Yaping & Joanna for Joyce's farewell party, she's leaving for Brisbane to study her degree, awesomely cool! All the best Joyce, and havee loadddss of funn, haha! Anyway, we reached her house, and went to have dinner. Her parents/maid cooked up alot of stuffs man, awesome stuff as well! Ohya, and Joyce made Tiramisu, yummylicious! hahaha! So we just had the usual joke around and catching up during dinner. Well, than after dinner, headed to the porch, and played cards, and Ahern was like losing all the way, and he had to do stupid forfeits like waving his hand frantically at passing cars like a lunantic! Oh well, that's Ahern!
let's smile once for the camera!
look at the spread on the table!
with Joyce, all the best in your future endeavours, and have fun in aussie! :D
After playing for awhile, we all got tired so headed to the nearby ice-cream store, Icekimo for some cooling-down! The store sells really nice ice cream, as in very original flavours as well, Charmaine, Joanna & myself shared a triple scoop, so we had Guinness Chocolate Chip, Blueberry Cheesecake & Teh Tarik. Yes, Teh Tarik flavoured ice cream! How cool is that man, but it tasted really nice, just that it gets really packed at night, do check out the website - http://www.icekimo.com/.
After fufilling our stomachs, it's back to Charmaine's house for more fun! Oh and thanks to Charmaine's dad, i got to try a new kind of alcohol yesterday, it's coffee liquor, or rather Bailey's Irish Cream, it's this creamy ( like duh! ) kind of alcohol that taste almost like Absolut Vodka, just that it has this very rich taste of coffee in it! Great Stuff! Okay, so we started playing Heart-Attack, it has been like so long since i played that, so everyone started getting excited and stuffs, and just screamed through the way! hahaha! We left home around 10pm, when everyone got really tired.
real nice liquor, great stuff!
Okay, these past few days i've been thinking again, and perhaps what people have been telling me were right, but i guess instead of trying to blame or rather lay blame, i should just be the one who should start the change, i'm just sick of these kind of things, and i really want it to change for the better. All the best to me than!
Okay, for the last part of this post, here's another interesting story to share, perhaps after reading this story, it brought about thoughts to me, i mean it's really interesting, do read it, and share it with others if you think it's nice as well.
You Are Special
A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?"
Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this."
He proceeded to crumple the dollar bill up. He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
The hands went up in the air.
"Well," he replied, "what if I do this?"
He dropped it on the ground and started grinding it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, crumpled and dirty and asked, "Now who still wants it?"
Again the hands went up into the air.
"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was worth $20 regardless of what I did to it."
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value in God's eyes. To Him, dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to Him.
The worth of our lives come not in what we do or who we know but by who we are!
You are special - Don't ever forget it!
