Goodbye, 2008!

Here it comes this time of the year where people recap the past year and set new resolutions for the upcoming. Time flew really fast this year, within a blink and i'm about to end my year 1's life in RP, 2008 has been a year filled with mixed emotions, yet again.

The first quarter of the year has been pretty nervous & yet fun. I still remembered myself getting the results, being congratulated by teachers. Then came my short stint in Millenia Institute, where i had loads of fun during Orientation, Neutron-5 and my class 08B2. Got to know really nice and wonderful people during this quarter, although i got to admit that MI's PE was a killer and the super early hours i have to wake up everyday to go to school. and the long train ride put me off at times, the fun and laugher i had there, the smiles you guys left me will always be remembered!

The second quarter of the year was more about adjustment and learning. I got myself a place in RP, and was absolutely delighted, gotten myself into W34P, a class filled with mixed adventures, great experiences, and wonderful memories. Still remembered the days, i had my first sheesha outing with Wan & company, followed by the breakouts and admiralty parks, lepak sessions at Marina Square & Breeks, those wonderful times will always be kept. I had my "cheebong" partner in class, who's always about thai everything, we had the "bangbros" in class as well, who were constantly searching for babes, haha!

The third quarter was a process of self-learning. Though i had many great & wonderful experiences in both the quarters, i had my fair share of downs and disappointments as well. I got myself into a 'shithole", was blinded by lust, disappointed at the fact that some people could just treat as though nothing ever took place. Those days were pretty terrible, i felt sad and discouraged, and it's as though the whole world was against me or something. However through this experience, i had learnt the "beauty" of human nature and how it may change like the weather, and we all should be prepared in all circumstances, and protect yourself first, put yourself in a position of strength.

The fourth quarter has been so far so fun! Gotten myself into W45M, at first i was pretty skeptical about this new class, and was afraid that the class will not bond and stuffs like that, however it was pretty cool, got to know a whole bunch of great people, where we spend breakouts together, walking home toggether, shopping, movies, sentosa. It was a great time during the last quarter of this year, and i really appreciate these people around me. I might not be too good in expressing what i really feel, but to say an honest word, i'm really glad with the friends i've made in W45M, and they are all a great bunch of peeps! And it's sad that there's only 3 more weeks of school left.

Of course this year would not have been as fun without my family as well as Jongkers & Secondary School Clique. Had a long period of cold war with my brother in july and it recently ended, and things are as normal between us, and it's really a nice feeling, in this world there'a nothing more precious then your family, and perhaps this cold war actually brings us closer in way, i tend to accept/give in more willingly i think so. Although haven't been meeting up with Jongker regularly, it was nice that each time we meet up, there's always so much laughters and things for us to share, and that i know that these people will always be there for me whenever i need them! Secondary school clique was awesome this year aswell, spent christmas with them, various birthday celebrations and outings, and it was a really nice year spent with them, catching up the good old days, and tomorrow will be spending with them us to usher in 2009!

Thank you to all who made 2008 a wonderful and splendid year, and to those who taught me a lesson in life, and friends who lent me their listening ears in times of need and of course to my family for always standing by my side.
