Reached Changi Airport around 8.45am. Checked-in our baggage first before heading for breakfast at the food court at T3. And the food was horrible, shall not go into details but it just tasted horrible. Went to check-in after that, and shopped awhile the area as we still had some time to kill, boarded the plane around 10.30am.

Flight took-off around 11am, and it was really nice experience taking Singapore Airlines on the first day of the lunar new year. The meal they served consisted of "yu sheng", i was like wow, so you now can even "lou hei" in the air, besides the good meal served, they have a wonderul array of programmes in the inflight entertainment system, and the stewardess were pretty gorgeous as well. haha! Reached Hong Kong International Airport at 2.00pm.
Passed immigration, and that place was swarming with people, rather it was swarming with PRCs. Collected our baggage and stuffs, and headed for the airport express to our hotel. Reached the hotel within 30 minutes from the airport. Checked in to the room and rested for awhile, unpack our things, and off we went for an early dinner.
Oh, i forgot to mention the weather here in Hong Kong. The weather here is absolutely great, it's cool & breezy, and when you talk, there's still fog coming out from your mouth, the temperature when we reached HK was around 12 degress celcius. Anyway, we went to this restaurant along Tsim Sha Tsui, which is very near our hotel, about 5 mintues walk from it, Mu Dan Ting. Ordered "Ma Po Toufu", "Suckling Roast Pig" & "Claypot Sheng Cai". To be honest, all the dishes were really good, be it the toufu's softness or the roasted pig's crispness, they were all very delicating and delicious. Interestingly, we had this "Claypot Sheng Cai", which is by far the first time i tasted something like this, the taste is very unique, it's a combination of "belachan" + "lettuce" something like that, but it still tasted good anyway.
After dinner, we headed for the Cathay Pacific International Chinese New Year Night Parade 2009, which is something like the Chingay Parade we have over here in Singapore. And started waiting for the float parade to start since like 6.30pm, and it started around 8.00pm. And i was freaking pissed off with all the PRCs that were there, they were all up pushing around trying to get in front and talking so loudly, it was just getting on peoples' nerves. But overall, the show was brilliant, the floats were beautifully designed and the costumes were very colourful and dazzling. Returned to the hotel after that.
