I was browsing through some admission criteria to NTU's and NUS's School Of Engineering. And somehow, the prospect of the future hit me hard. In a sense that, i'm pretty afraid now that what will i do or become if i do not get into a local university.
I'm not actually quite interested in the semi-conducter industry, the reason i chose Material Sciences was because i know that NUS's has module exemptions on this course. And hopefully i'm able to get in. But given my current Year 1's GPA, i really need to work very hard during the remaining two years to work out something for the future.
And although the future might seem exciting, it does seem scary at times. Given the bleak economic situation now, and the electronics sector not doing quite well, it made me ponder whether my choice before to go into DMTS was a correct one. But hopefully this wake up call would make me strive harder in the future to work towards my goal.
